Nine volunteers braved bitterly cold weather and threatening snow to construct new steps on the Cotswold Way at Lineover Wood near Dowdeswell. We also installed two new waymark posts which bear the distinctive National Trail acorn symbol, together with directional arrows. We worked under the guidance of Peter the Cotswold Way works co-ordinator who was very fortunately able to get the Landrover, complete with materials and tools up to the site which was quite some distance steeply uphill from the road. Our work was appreciated by several walkers who passed by during the day.
