Tuesday 29th July 2008 – Bat Walk at Woodchester
This is a special, GVCV only, bat walk guided by the National Trust warden
for Woodchester Park. The park has a range of bat species including the rare
Greater Horseshoe. The presence of the rare bats is a major factor in the SSSI
status of the park and influences the management of the valley, including some
of the work GVCV has done there in the past.
We will meet in the car park at 7:30 and will be leaving around
10:30. Bring a good torch, warm clothes
including stout footwear. Pre-booking is essential. Contact Richard for details.
12th August 2008 – Evening Walk
A walk around the Andoversford area of approx 5 miles, potentially ending
at a pub. Start at 6:30pm. Contact Barry for details..

membership. The meeting is at The Swan, Cheltenham starting at 7:30. All are welcome. Contact Lorna for further details.
